Modern Volume-play House
This is a two-story premium contemporary residence defined by layered box forms and contrasting materials.
Geometry and Volumes: The house consists of distinct stacked rectangular volumes. The rooflines are flat and feature deep eaves and overhangs, often faced with warm wood paneling underneath. A strong, vertical chimney or accent element in gray contrasts with the horizontal lines.
Materials and Contrast:
Lower Floor: Clad primarily in dark, textured charcoal or black stone/block, giving it a heavy, grounded base.
Upper Floor: Uses lighter white or pale stucco and features large sections of glass and balconies.
Accents: Warm vertical wood paneling is used on both levels to soften the darker materials and highlight recessed areas.
Outdoor Amenities: The home opens to a wooden deck and features an integrated, mosaic-tiled rectangular pool set within a lawn area. The upper floor includes a wide balcony with a modern glass railing.
The overall aesthetic is sophisticated, using sharp geometry and material variation for a premium, contemporary feel.
